How can being the MD of a bookkeeping business be so complicated I am asking myself after a demanding day. For years we have been grappling with our website. It's so so. Does a sort of job, is fast enough, lots of good content, tells the story BUT it's not doing much for us, that is apart from a week ago when we received a big enquiry from 100 miles away - a breakthrough.
Anyway in trying to sort out our website I have received a proposal of 6 pages which I believe really well sums up what is wrong, weak or lacking and I understand it! So at last I feel I can make progress.
What has this to do with bookkeeping? Well we look after some clients online with our Citrix server in London and the web is the way to win distant clients.
